What do I need to bring to my riding lessons?
When taking horse riding lessons at Windridge Farm, we ask our riders to wear the appropriate attire, including closed-toe shoes with a small heel (no sandals or gym shoes), jeans or leggings (no shorts), and a riding helmet. If you do not have the appropriate helmet, we have some you can use during your lesson.
Do you offer trail rides?
No, we do not offer trail rides. However, there are plenty of other great reasons to visit, including horse riding lessons and shows!
What age can my child start going to your horse camp?
We accept riders who are at least five years old for our horse summer camps.
Do I need prior experience to take lessons at your facility?
No, we accept beginner riders to advanced skill levels for our horse riding lessons. According to Zippia, 77.4% of equestrians are women, while only 22.6% of equestrians are men. While there are several factors causing this imbalance, we want to make sure that access to lessons isn't one of them.
Do you offer boarding?
Yes, we have boarding programs for our advanced riders, as well as additional boarding options. If you're looking to improve your skills through local horse riding lessons, contact Windridge Farm today!
